A Statement from National Park Foundation President and CEO Will Shafroth on President Biden’s Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Request
WASHINGTON – Will Shafroth, president and CEO of the National Park Foundation (NPF), issued the following statement in response to President Biden’s fiscal year (FY) 2023 budget request:
“The National Park Foundation applauds the Biden Administration’s continued commitment to investing in America’s national parks by including $5 million, as authorized by the National Park Service Centennial Act, for NPF in its FY23 budget proposal. The National Park Foundation looks forward to leveraging this critically important federal funding through the power of private philanthropy. With support from our strong community of national park partners, the Foundation is excited to carry out this important work in partnership with the National Park Service.”
