The National Park Foundation’s Chief External Affairs Officer Dawn Rodney was invited to speak at the Economist’s 3rd Annual Sustainability Week Conference in Washington, D.C. She participated in the panel, “The Green Revolution as a Cause for Social Change,” to talk about NPF’s mission and programs, how to work with Indigenous and tribal communities to fight the climate crisis, and why education is important to support future park stewards.
Dawn was joined by Ben Jealous, executive director, Sierra Club; Kate Maloney, executive director, Infosys Foundation USA; and, Julia Jackson, founder of Grounded & Keystone Species Alliance.
