The Aspen Institute hosts NPF CEO at Inaugural Aspen Ideas: Climate Festival
The CEO of the National Park Foundation, Will Shafroth, was invited to speak at Aspen Institute’s Aspen Ideas: Climate festival in Miami Beach, Florida. Shafroth participated in the panel, “Living Laboratories: What Parks and Protected Areas Teach Us About Climate Solutions,” which highlighted the role that national parks, monuments, and marine sanctuaries play in tracking nature’s adaptation to climate change.
Shafroth was joined by I. Ling Thompson, senior vice president & chief marketing officer, Trust for Public Land; Pedro Ramos, superintendent, Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Park; and Reverend Houston Cypress.
