NPF joins NPS and The Corps Network for National Park Week Virtual Panel
NPF’s Vice President of Education and Engagement Tracey Ritchie provided welcome remarks and NPF’s Senior Manager for Programs and Partnerships Lisa McClure participated in the Q&A during the virtual panel discussion “Our Park Career Path: Corpsmembers on Their Growth as Park Stewards,” co-hosted in partnership with the National Park Service Youth Programs Division and The Corps Network. Tracey and Lisa helped attendees understand the important role that NPF plays in helping to support service corps across the country, noting that NPF is especially excited to highlight the ways that service corps are helping to make parks more climate resilient. They also nodded to the collective nature of NPF’s work, emphasizing the importance of true partnership in bringing corps programs to life, and underscoring the value of relationship building with parks, park partners, and corps organizations.
