Amidst the sweeping alpine landscape one can find breathtaking blue waters. Find your serenity and take the time to reconnect with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
From hiking to fishing to camping, Ross Lake National Recreation Area is an ideal location for your next outdoor adventure.

Ross Lake National Recreation Area is the most accessible part of the North Cascades National Park Service Complex. Visitors can enjoy hiking, camping, and much more during their trip.

The national recreation area includes three reservoirs: Ross Lake, Diablo Lake, and Gorge Lake—water gateways to more remote areas. Ringed by mountains, it offers many outdoor recreation opportunities along the upper reaches of the Skagit River. The National Park Foundation encourages and promotes local fundraising support at individual national park sites. Washington's National Park Fund is a nonprofit partner of the National Park Service and supports Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks.
