Rhoda L. Altom

Rhoda L. Altom is president of Milestone Properties, a real estate investment firm, and a community activist in the Puget Sound area. In 1989, she founded Milestone Properties Inc., which specializes in the acquisition and management of apartment properties in the Puget Sound area providing dignified affordable housing. She has served on many for profit and nonprofit boards. She is a founder of several philanthropic associations, including the National Park Foundation’s National Council, Washington Women's Foundation, YWCA Endowment Guild, Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund, and PBTRF Guild at Children's Hospital. She received an Alumni Achievement Award from WSU in 2009.

Ms. Altom holds a BS degree in Engineering and Construction Management from Washington State University and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Washington.
