Michael Packnett

Mike retired in January 2023 after a career of service in healthcare. He most recently served as CEO of Parkview Health in Indiana for 16 years. Parkview is the largest employer in northwest Indiana and northeast Ohio with over 16,000 co-workers. Mr. Packnett also served with the Sisters of Mercy Health System in St. Louis, Missouri for 15 years.

Mr. Packnett will remain active in health care and the community serving on several boards including Love Fort Wayne, Orlando Health, Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, and Manchester University.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Minnesota, and honorary doctorates from Huntington University, Trine University and Manchester University.

He is a native of Oklahoma and is a member of the Choctaw Nation. He and his wife, Donna, have two adult children, Kristin and Kelli.
