Karen S. Conway
Karen Conway is an established architect, and focuses on residential design. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both with degrees in architecture. After graduating from MIT, she worked for two large architecture firms in Boston and Los Angeles where her focus was on public projects and residential work. While raising her children, she continued working on individual residential projects. In 2009, she began working with MASS Design Group, a non-profit organization focused on dignity in design for underserved populations.
In addition to architecture, Karen has deep interests in the arts and in the outdoors. Growing up in Colorado and California she came to enjoy many aspects of outdoor life in the west. She is a passionate about hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends in the outdoors.
Along with her family, she spends time in Telluride, CO and Martha's Vineyard, MA. Karen's non-profit involvement and board memberships include the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Telluride Foundation, MASS Design Group, and Trustees of Reservations.
