Tracey Ritchie

Dr. Tracey Ritchie joined the NPF team as the VP of Education and Engagement in August of 2021 and oversees all aspects of program management and grantmaking for the Connecting Audiences team. Tracey works closely with National Park Service staff, park partners, and NPF colleagues to raise funds from institutional funders, individual donors, and corporate partners to support the programmatic needs and growth of the ever-expanding Connecting Audiences’ program portfolio.
Tracey holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida where her research focused on developing systems-thinking skills in students and teachers to more effectively communicate complex environmental issues such as climate change. Tracey has an extensive background in program development and evaluation, facilitating professional development for educators, social science research methodologies, and Environmental Education best practices. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Education from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Florida in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation.
When not in the office, you are likely to find Tracey hiking and camping or taking photos of her dog, Dakota, around the monuments and natural areas of Washington, DC.
