Get to Know Lauren
Favorite National Park:
Olympic National Park

Lauren is honored to bring her professional skills to maximize impact at our national parks. She leads foundation relations, building mutually meaningful relationships and implementing strategic alignment between institutional missions.

Before joining the National Park Foundation, she spent more than 11 years at the University of Washington, helping connect faculty research with private funding. Passionate about public service, Lauren has worked at nonprofits for the past 20 years supporting institutional fundraising at organizations like United Way, YMCA, and the Chicago Children's Museum. She has a BA in Political Science and an MA in Public Service Management.

Lauren lives in central Seattle with her husband, daughter, two cats, and bunny. When they are not taking hiking and biking adventures to national parks in their Scamp trailer, Lauren likes to scratch her creative itch through sewing, pottery, needlepoint, and gardening.
