National Park Foundation Launches New Website

November 12, 2007 – Today the National Park Foundation unveiled its new, user-friendly and content-rich website. This new on-line look will help the Foundation in its mission to strengthen the enduring connection between the American people and their national parks by raising private funds, making strategic grants, creating innovative partnerships and increasing public awareness. Highlights of the new website include:
- First Bloom Project: National Park Foundation Honorary Chair Laura Bush announced the creation of the First Bloom Project, which will use native plants to connect kids to their national parks and to their own backyards, last month in Austin, TX. In “Who We Help” read about this exciting project, its partners and supporters.
- Leadership Summit on Partnership and Philanthropy: On October 14-16, the National Park Foundation convened thought leaders from across the nation to discuss the next century for parks. Learn more about this exciting event, and find video or its compelling sessions in “Get Involved”.
