CALIFORNIA – San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park – Go back in time and hop aboard the historic 19th century ship, Balclutha, and learn how the sailors survived the treacherous Cape Horn passage! For more information click here.
KENTUCKY/TENNESSEE/VIRGINIA – Cumberland Gap National Historical Park – Take 183 steps below the surface of the Earth at Gap Cave for a two-hour guided adventure under shimmering stalagmites, remarkable stalactites, and twinkling flowstone. NEBRASKA – Homestead National Monument of America – Catch the traveling exhibit “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War” while it’s in a national park! Learn hands-on how President Abraham Lincoln’s strong leadership guided the nation through some of its most challenging years and into a brighter future for all. For more information click here.
SOUTH CAROLINA – Ninety Six Historic Site – Walk the actual grounds where two Revolutionary War battles were fought in the tall woods of South Carolina! Go on a one-mile guided hike and learn all about the Cherokee Indians and the Continental Army Major General Nathanael Greene’s Patriots. For more information click here.
WASHINGTON – Mount Rainier National Park – Lend a helping hand and have fun at the same time! Last season, the Comet Falls Trail became so washed-out that the park was forced to close the trail for the majority of the summer. Come out and help restore and improve the Comet Falls Trail!
