I wish I could find a National Park with facilities for a large family reunion that is not a campground. Many families need an affordable place to stay, such as a group lodge, where they can cook for their families to share an old fashioned family dinner. Many young couples can't afford a week-long family get-together if they have to pay restaurant prices every day in addition to other costs of the vacation. Our group of 60, aging from 0 to 70+, has found a few state parks with such facilities for a week, but it would be wonderful if the National Park system would also listen to what people need and provide at least one such facility in each state. The existing state park facilities are always booked a year or 2 in advance.
