Talk about under the radar! This "park" is actually 13 living city blocks in the heart of downtown New Bedford. The cobblestone streets are lined with gas lamps and the cityscape is full of 18th and 19th century architecture. Many streets offer vistas out toward the harbor and the masts of New Bedford's massive fishing fleet. While it's certainly an excellent collection of history, it's not lacking on modern amenities either. There are many shops, restaurants, bars, galleries, etc. filling space in these old buildings.
